EMEA College library was instituted with the inception of college in 1982. The library was started in the commerce block and finally moved to the existing newly constructed building in 2014. The central library of EMEA Arts and Science College was named after the late founder as Shihab Thangal Central Library and Research Center. The primary aim of the library is to establish a learning environment for the users as well as to encourage and support the professional & individual growth of EMEA community in the search for knowledge. The library promises to promote the mission of the college by empowering academic community of the College with enriching collections, innovative services, and state-of-art technologies as well as to discover, preserve, and disseminate knowledge. It act as a centre for the collection of resources predominantly related to all subjects offered by the college. The college library which is an integral part of the higher educational institution plays a pivotal role in acquiring and providing access to books, periodicals and other media that meet the educational and informational needs of its users in a stimulating, scholarly environment conducive to academic pursuits.
